About: I'm a 17 year old dual high school and college student making a living mooching off of his parents and the internet. I love anime and video games, however my limited funding (id est I have no job) prevents me from buying anime DVDs and video games... I wouldn't necessarily categorize me as an Otaku, but I guess some would consider me one... When I hear the word "Otaku" I picture an obsessive person that watches hours of anime a day and goes to every -con that can go to... Although that understanding may be rather harsh on the matter. Anyways, I'm just a simple philosopher that finds an interest in the internet more than the real world. I simply find that one can channel their thoughts better behind the wall of the internet than in real life, and this allows me to hold the educated discussions that I do online whereas I would never have the possibility to do so offline, in the real world.
