Favorite Manga

Just because a Manga series has an anime doesn't mean that BOTH are good! Post your favorite manga here, regardless of your favorite Animes.

My favorite Mangas:

Fullmetal Alchemist

SGT. Frog

Strawberry 100%

Rosario+Vampire (Parts I and II)

Naruto: Shippuden

I'm sure that there are more I just cant think hard enough. Been a while since I found anything new that was really good....

If you liked "Azumanga Daioh" by Kiyohiko Azuma then check out "Yotsuba&!" I was at Saturday Matinee yesterday and picked up the first volume. Very funny manga. I suggest reading it!!

Saiyuki. This is the one question I can answer with no problem. I absolutely adore the series, characters, art style, and Kazuya Minekura.

@jim

The manga is AMAZING. It's so much better than the anime, to be honest. I would say read it over watching it any day.

You have good taste, Maria. Though 12 Kingdoms is amazing, it isn't a manga.

My favorite is Angel Sanctuary. Still collecting it.

Also anything dot hack related.

you could try Soul Eater. It's becoming really popular and its an action manga/anime which seems to be wat you prefer i suppose. Another really good manga i'd recommend is Dogs Bullets and Carnage. It's little known still but hey I'm starting to see cosplayers for it...is fandom imminent on the horizon?! sorry got a bit carried away ^^' But seriously check it out.

Dot Hack is pretty good. I could never get too deep into it, though, because it seemed like whenever I got 3 volumes into one series, another series popped up.

OMG Fruits Basket is awesome! Everyone should read this manga. It's cute and at the same time captivating. It's sorta like Ramna 1/2. Cus of all the sex changes. Well, ony a little. It has a lot to do with the opposite sex.

@KaminaSama: Why not finish the one you were reading then move on? All of them are interwoven with one another or are a retelling of the video games. It's really best to start in one and let that take you to the next one. I would highly recommend checking into .hack//XXXX, since that goes back to the very first game installments of .hack for PS2 as a retelling. That manga series is still fairly new. From there, going to .hack//G.U. manga would be best. I could keep going, but I'm not sure if you'd want me to.

Don't like Fruits Basket. Probably cuz I'm a guy. :/

I actually started Legend of Twilight and I liked that one a lot. And I was going to start Sign recently but things got in my way. And by things I mean other series. XD

Just read Legend of Twilight cuz Nina told me to give the series a whirl, so I picked a short one.

....I have a feeling maybe I should've read that one last. But I loved it.
