In this commemorative 150th year of the first Japanese delegation to the U.S., Theodore C. Bestor, Professor, Chair of the Department of Anthropology, Harvard University, Ian Condry, Associate Director, Comparative Media Studies, MIT and Marc Peter Keane, landscape architect, examine food, music and landscape architecture throughout 150 years of influence, modification and adaptation.
