I've been hunting down what little anime is available on Netflix and watching it... no matter how terrible some may be.

My god, "Best Student Council" is truly the shittiest show I've ever watched.

I'm a little late on this one, but I had my anime figurines under my small Christmas tree in my room, with pokemon ornaments. And I watched The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya into the new year. :D

I marathoned a yuri anime called Sasameki Koto into the new year. I love it for its bluntness and varied portrayal of female-to-female relationships. It'll never come over to America, so why not enjoy it? =]
